Who we are
Metamorphic grew out of two long working relationships — one across a client table, one across a decade of team-building.
Dan met Tom at RSA, where Tom was the client and Dan was the consultant, and somehow that turned into years of shared opinions about legacy systems, loud music, and what most transformation programmes get wrong. Around the same decade, Dan and Sudarshan were building a team together at Capgemini, with Dan as head of practice, Sudarshan as CTO — turning a handful of people into something much bigger.
They started Metamorphic to keep doing the good parts — and skip the rest.
What we're here to do
Help organisations get more out of their data without the usual song and dance. That means honest advice, solutions that actually fit, and implementation that moves the needle — not the slide count.

Drummer. Heavy metal nerd. Recovering consultant.
Dan's spent two decades working in data, tech and transformation — roughly the same length of time he's been explaining why legacy systems aren't evil.
An Australian by origin and problem-solver by compulsion, he believes the best way to fix a complex system (or break down a song) is to actually listen to it first.
He started Metamorphic to help organisations do exactly that.

Tech geek. Insurance veteran. Simpsons quote machine.
Tom's spent the last twenty years helping insurers make sense of their systems — and occasionally their existential crises. He's worked across architecture, data and transformation, which means he's fluent in both COBOL and corporate buzzwords (though he prefers the former).
He co-founded Metamorphic with Dan to prove that legacy systems aren't relics. They're the company's real memory.
When he's not dissecting application maps, he's probably dissecting movie plots. And yes, he can find a Simpsons quote for every meeting.

Sudarshan's spent two decades in enterprise transformation, strategy and governance, working across platforms and industries to accelerate tech modernisation for global clients.
Born in India and formerly Global CTO and Cloud Lead at a major consulting firm, he specialises in data and AI — and in having the difficult conversations clients usually avoid, especially the ones about what not to do.
He'll happily brainstorm anything data-shaped, ideally over a long flight and a cricket score.
